Hosanna House, Inc. (HHI) reaches outside our campus to elevate the community to sustain its future through economic transformation and community development, impacting families and businesses in Wilkinsburg and surrounding communities.
We further our mission, “People working together providing opportunities that will empower families and individuals to discover, acknowledge and develop their maximum potential physically, spiritually and economically.”
By partnering with ACTION Housing, WCDC, Borough of Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, and PA State to provide affordable housing, eradicate blight around us, provide Business Development opportunities, and serve as a resource broker for those in need.
We make Connections for Community Members
In 2012, I moved to Wilkinsburg Pa with my daughter’s grandmother. I did not know anyone or anything, and this was my first time being in Pennsylvania. The house we were staying in was right around the corner on Wallace Ave was the Hosanna House. My mother-in-law told me there were a lot of programs and things in the building to help the community. She said I should really look into it as it could really help me while transitioning my move and looking for a job to get back on my feet. I made an appointment to meet with the ladies at the Hosanna house office. I had such a great experience and am so grateful for the Hosanna house and all the things that it provides for the community. I love to see that ten years later, the Hosanna House is doing even more for the community and still growing strong. Thank you to any and all involved with the Hosanna House. You are really helping people with all that you do there!
