Swimming

Students will be able to experience our zero-entry Olympic-sized swimming pool. A full lifeguard staff manages water play.

Basketball and Tennis Courts

These full-size courts offer ample space for students to enjoy competition in a state-of-the-art facility.

Dek Hockey

Sherwood boasts a dek hockey rink donated by the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and the Highmark Foundation. This spacious rink will allow many students to have their first interaction with the sport. Our dynamic staff will lead structured drills and challenges.

  • Reservations are available through Tickets for Kids Charities only.
  • VisitĀ www.ticketsforkids.org. Click Start Application under Agency Sign Up. Follow the steps provided.
  • RYC programming runs from May to September on Wednesdays and Fridays only.

Expectations for Organizations

  • Must an organized, non-profit, youth-serving organization
  • Must be a Tickets for Kids Agency
  • Groups must have a minimum of 25 students and a maximum of 50
  • Groups must maintain a 12:1 ration of students to staff members
  • Two staff members must be at least 21 years old
  • All staff members are required to participate with students in designated activities
  • All organizations will participate in swimming as well as one educational component and one other recreational component
  • All students should be properly dressed for outdoor play, including tennis shoes
  • HHI will provide a designated area for groups to have groups to have lunch. Groups must provide their own lunches
  • All Participants must complete the HHI Sherwood Waiver
  • All group leaders must complete a satisfaction survey
  • Program offerings are subject to change without prior notice
  • HHI will not issue rainchecks
